Hercules Aircrew Training Contract Extended Through 2035

The U.S. Air Force has awarded CAE USA a $300 million competitive recompete contract, extending its role as prime contractor for the C-130H Aircrew Training System (ATS) through December 2035. CAE first won the contract in 2018.

The work covers program management, instruction, maintenance, logistics, cybersecurity and ongoing upgrades to keep the system aligned with evolving aircraft capabilities. CAE trains C-130H pilots, flight engineers, navigators and loadmasters. The program includes nine C-130H full-mission simulators and more than 45 aircrew training devices.

Training is delivered to the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, plus four other sites: Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia; Wyoming Air National Guard Base; Minneapolis Air National Guard Base, Minnesota; and St. Joseph Air National Guard Base, Missouri.

CAE will remain the C-130H ATS prime contractor for the USAF for an additional nine years under the recompete contract.
