Axis Flight Training Systems has received FAA Level D approval for its XLS full flight simulator. The simulator will be used by training operator SimCom. This represents a major step forward for Axis. The company's installed base was formerly focused on Austria, but Axis set its sights on international markets. The first non-domestic installation was earlier this year in Italy, and now the company has successfully entered the American market.

Europe’s Number One Civil Aviation Training Event EATS 2024 will be held on 5-7 November, 2024. It typically attracts 900 attendees from over 50 countries – all focused on best training practices. With over 48 hours of intense networking and information exchange with key representatives from the region’s airline training community, EATS is Europe’s largest aviation training event, designed by and for aviation professionals.
