Miami, Florida-based Alliance Aviation, Inc. has been appointed as both the sponsor and operator of a new ATR 72-600 Level D simulator purchased from Axis Flight Training Systems by Simulator Ventures LLC.
The new simulator will be housed in Alliance’s satellite facility at Sanford Airport in Florida, making the company the first in the world to offer FAA-Approved ATR72-600 certification courses to serve the need of new ATR-600 operators in the USA.
Alliance is also currently the sponsor and exclusive operator of an ATR42-300 simulator.
Elsewhere, ATRs 72-600 full flight simulator recently received EASA certification.
