AeroStar Training Services (AeroStar) has taken delivery of an Airbus A320 simulator at its new Kissimmee Gateway Airport (KISM) headquarters.
The simulator arrived on two large trucks (pictured) and was unloaded into the simulator bay built within the company’s hangar during the last several months.
AeroStar predicts the Level D simulator will be ready for training in March 2018. It is the first of several that have been acquired by the company in order to allow future students to complete all their training in-house.
Deidra Toye, AeroStar’s President and CEO, declared, “We look forward to making our sim training more convenient for our students and having state-of-the-art equipment on-site that we will also be able to lease out and use for many years to come.”
Elsewhere, the company recently signed an MOU with Fly Smart Pilot Training.
