Sweden-based OSM Aviation Academy (OSMAA) announced during the 2018 World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) that it is to deliver training and placement services for the Europilot programme run by European Pilot Selection and Training (EPST).
Each year, the partnership will see OSMAA provide professional airline pilot training to ‘frozen’ ATPL standards for up to 50 EPST trainee pilots at crew training centres in both Sweden and Norway who will then be offered a job with OSM Aviation.
Successful applicants for the Europilot programme will complete an 18-month integrated pilot education course with OSM Aviation Academy. The integrated programme combines theoretical and practical flight training, leadership development and other core competencies essential to a pilot career.
The EPST Multi-Pilot Airline Jet Foundation Training Course (AJFC), which includes the EASA Advanced Multi-Crew Cooperation training (APC) and Type rating, will be completed at EPST’s training centre in Utrecht in The Netherlands.

During WATS 2018, OSMAA also announced an order for a Boeing 737 flight training device from Multi Pilot Simulations.
