The 2025 EASA – FAA International Aviation Safety Conference is in the history books.
The 10-12 June event’s proceedings supported the theme “Aviate, Navigate, Communicate: The Path to Enhanced Safety” throughout the workshops, panel discussions and other activities.
The Cologne-based conference generated some memorable remarks we’ll keep in our e-folder, “Safety is not a destination but a journey” and “Safety is a principle we live by” (Grazia Vittadini), and examined a wide range of current-forward leaning topics that will guide the civil aviation community well beyond this decade.
While AI, data and other current and emerging technologies were discussion points, the conference’s proceedings more broadly addressed safety and training developments across community verticals – for pilots, maintenance technicians and others.
