MPS recently completed the installation of a Boeing 737 MAX flight training device (FTD) at Flair Airlines. The simulator, boasting an FAA level 5 rating, was formally handed over to Grey Cooper, Flair’s Director of Flight Training, during an onsite ceremony in Toronto, Canada.

The timing of this delivery aligns perfectly with Flair’s proactive approach to combat the pilot shortage in Canada. Last summer, the airline introduced an intensive 18-month training program designed to meet the industry’s standards regulatory requirements.

Grey Cooper, Director of Pilot Training at Flair Airlines, expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “The installation of the Boeing 737 MAX flight training device signifies a major milestone for Flair Airlines as we address the pilot shortage in Canada. This state-of-the-art simulator, provided by MPS, ensures that our current pilots and cadets receive top-notch training, paving the way for them to become skilled first officers.”

MPS is exhibiting at this year's World Aviation Training Summit in booth #822, taking place now through 2 May.
