The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is accepting applications for its Round 4 – 2025 Aviation Workforce Development Grants, which was paused last year for a federal review. The grants cover two categories: Aircraft Pilots and Aviation Maintenance Technical Workers.

The grants are available to academia and the aviation community, with the aim of building a more inclusive talent pool of pilots and aviation maintenance technicians. Individuals are not eligible to apply directly.

Applications must be submitted electronically via grants.gov by 22 June 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
