Entrol has announced the sale, installation, and certification of an A32 FNPT II MCC simulator to Fly Provence. This simulator, based on the Airbus A320, was delivered and operational in record time.

The A32 FNPT II MCC simulator is designed to provide high-fidelity training experiences for Fly Provence. The simulator covers key French airports including Orly, Charles de Gaulle, Marseille, and Nice, ensuring realistic training environments. With its comprehensive mission scenarios, the A32 FNPT II MCC prepares pilots for a wide range of real-world situations, from routine flights to emergency responses.

The acquisition of this Airbus flight simulator by Fly Provence is a crucial strategic move for the school. This equipment not only reduces the number of actual flight hours required, thereby significantly decreasing CO2 emissions, but also enhances the quality of training offered. By integrating this simulator, Fly Provence can provide more comprehensive and realistic training to its students, aligning its practices with the standards of major airlines. This also aids the school in green aviation training, preparing its students for the challenges of tomorrow’s aviation industry, where reducing environmental impacts is a top priority.

The sale was finalized in April 2024, and within a short span of three months, the simulator was manufactured, underwent Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), shipped, installed, and certified at Fly Provence’s facilities. This efficiency is attributed to Entrol’s strategy of pre-producing models that are in high demand, allowing for swift delivery and installation.

The A32 FNPT II MCC simulator offers a range of advanced features to enhance the training experience. The integrated iPad with ForeFlight provides real-time flight data and planning tools, while the remote IOS control allows for seamless operation and management of training sessions. Furthermore, the simulator supports various training modules, including emergency procedures, instrument flying, and complex navigation exercises, thus equipping pilots with a robust and versatile skill set.
