New Flight Simulator Delivered to Thailand

U-Wing Simulation has delivered and commissioned a  Cessna C172 Flight Training Device (FTD) for a professional aviation training institution in Thailand.

The device replicates the C172 cockpit environment, aircraft systems and flight characteristics, supporting cockpit familiarisation, standard operating procedures, instrument flight, abnormal and emergency procedures, and instructor-led scenario training. Subject to acceptance by the relevant aviation authority and approved training programme, the FTD may also support eligible training-hour credit while helping reduce reliance on aircraft-based training.

U-Wing completed the turnkey project, including manufacturing, testing, international transportation, on-site installation and commissioning, acceptance support, and user training. The device is now ready to support the customer’s daily pilot training activities.

The delivery expands U-Wing’s presence in Southeast Asia and follows the installation of a C172 FTD at Singapore Flying College’s training base in Australia.
