MINT Software Systems announced the launch of its Training Management System (TMS) for PlaneSense, a fractional aircraft ownership operator. The web-based MINT TMS digitizes training record-keeping, qualifications tracking, and compliance oversight for PlaneSense, helping simplify the full training management cycle. The system includes intelligent scheduling to optimize training resources and reduce costs, along with electronic grading that allows instructors to evaluate sessions via tablet both online and offline.
PlaneSense uses the full suite of MINT TMS features, including workflows and a mobile app, and plans to integrate additional internal systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce data duplication. The agreement also includes add-ons for FAA Pilot Records Database access and calendar synchronization across corporate systems.
PlaneSense operates a fleet of over 60 PC-12 turboprops and PC-24 jets with nearly 600 employees, including 240 pilots. MINT TMS now supports training functions across multiple departments, including maintenance crews and flight operations, serving as a centralized source for training records and qualifications.
“I continue to be amazed by the customizations and features that MINT offers,” says Tim Cloutier, assistant director of flight training for jet operations at PlaneSense. “MINT is going to help us in many ways. By transitioning from manual paper record-keeping to MINT’s completely digital solution, PlaneSense will streamline its entire training process,” he added.
