Egnatia Aviation and AEGEAN Airlines announced the continuation of their partnership for the AEGEAN Pilot Scholarship Programme, extending their collaboration to support the next generation of airline pilots in Greece and Cyprus.

The renewed program offers 120 aspiring pilots the chance to earn a Commercial Pilot License (Integrated ATPL with MCC) and begin their careers as First Officers with AEGEAN and Olympic Air. Egnatia Aviation will conduct theoretical and flight training at its facilities in Lydia Aerodrome, Kavala, Greece. Each training cycle will admit up to 40 cadets, starting with the 2026 cohort on 2 March 2026.

The 18–20 month training program includes access to modern aircraft, full-glass cockpit technology, advanced simulation systems, and instruction from experienced professionals. The curriculum emphasizes discipline, professionalism, and safety to prepare cadets for airline operations.
