True Course Simulations (TCS) has completed the installation of three immersive flight simulators — one mixed reality and two VR units — at Sacramento City College in California.

The deployment gives students access to repeatable, structured training environments designed to complement traditional instruction and build cockpit familiarity before live flight training begins.

The platform allows students to practice procedures and develop foundational skills in a controlled, data-driven setting, with the aim of bridging classroom learning and practical flight experience.

"Immersive simulation is playing an increasingly important role in modern aviation education," said Brett Watts, PhD, FRAeS, Chief Executive Officer of True Course Simulations. "By providing students with access to realistic, repeatable training environments, institutions like Sacramento City College are able to enhance learning outcomes while improving the accessibility and efficiency of their programmes."

Glen Ross, Director of Sales and Marketing at True Course Simulations, added: "Our focus is to support educators with tools that strengthen student preparedness and engagement. Deployments like this demonstrate how immersive technology can augment traditional training models and help institutions expand access to aviation pathways."
