Tunisair Express has signed a new two-year training agreement with ATR to continue accessing its pilot training solutions. The renewed agreement supports Tunisair Express’ goal to maintain pilot proficiency and operational efficiency through structured training services.
Tunisair Express operates primarily from Tunis-Carthage Airport and serves domestic and select regional destinations, including Malta and Italy. With a fleet of two ATR 72 aircraft, the airline contributes to essential air connectivity within Tunisia and the surrounding region.
Under the agreement, Tunisair Express will receive initial and recurrent pilot training, captain upgrade programs, and access to flight simulator services. The airline has already started working with the ATR Training Centre to validate its training courses, with the first sessions already completed.
ATR, the aircraft manufacturer, provides training for approximately 3,500 flight crew, cabin crew, and maintenance personnel annually. These programs are delivered using modern training equipment and meet recognized international certification standards.
According to ATR, the training programmes aim to enhance airline operations and pilot capabilities through instruction and structured modules.
