Engineering & Computer Simulations, Inc. (ECS) has been awarded a U.S. Navy Medical Modeling and Simulation Training (NMMAST) program contract by USALearning (USAL). The contract provides support to strengthen medical education and training for healthcare teams and patients utilizing advanced learning technologies and methodologies; it also includes local simulation program management, operations and maintenance, and Program Management Office (PMO) staff support for the development and delivery of this training. Richard A. Madrid, Jr., ECS Vice President of Global Services, will lead the new task order and Danielle Golson will be the Project Manager.

Under the task order, ECS will provide support to MMAST’s mission to identify, evaluate, validate, procure, and use advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve medical training and education for the purpose of improving healthcare outcomes. In addition, ECS will deliver technical support to design, develop, and deliver medical training simulation capabilities at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and operational training sites throughout the world. Services will be based upon mission requirements and directives from the Navy Surgeon General and the Naval Medical Forces Support Command and will be focused on education and training and Graduate Medical Education efforts. Work will be performed at the Navy PMO, designated Navy Medical Service Simulation Centers, MTFs, Defense Health Agency markets, Centers for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills, operational simulation sites, Navy Medicine Operational Training Centers, and Sustained Medical and Readiness Training medical facilities.
