The DiSTI Corporation has released VE Studio 6.1, adding a data‑driven UI engine, updated simulation and physical‑constraint systems, a refined variant workflow and performance and security enhancements.
The update introduces a new UI engine that generates 2D interface elements from data files, reducing development time and supporting consistent user experiences across multiple training systems. Physical constraints can now be configured directly in Unity, with support for OR‑logic, bulk edits and external data storage.
A new simulation development library standardises core methods, improves code portability and adds async/await support to simplify system‑level simulation work. The variant system has been updated to reduce load times and support mobile VR.
VE Studio 6.1 also includes a Unity engine update, security scans and improvements to the Requirements Analyzer and Fidelity Matrix tools.
“These tools help our customers maintain consistent user experiences while accelerating the development of immersive, simulation‑based learning,” said Doug Classe, Director of Engineering at DiSTI.
