The 354th Air Expeditionary Wing is taking part in Resolute Force Pacific 25, a large-scale training exercise running from July 10 to August 8. Designed to test combat readiness, the exercise challenges Airmen to rapidly command, control, and maneuver airpower across the Indo-Pacific, including Guam, Japan, and international airspace.

The training includes deployment of F-35A Lightning II aircraft and execution of Agile Combat Employment tactics, which emphasize flexibility and resilience in unpredictable environments. More than 12,000 U.S. and coalition personnel and over 350 aircraft are participating across 50 locations spanning 3,000 miles.

“We’re using intense training exercises like Resolute Force Pacific to test and refine our skills in unique situations and austere locations,” said Lt. Col Erik Gonsalves, 355th Mission Generation Force Element commander.

The exercise is part of a broader Department of Defense initiative to build a more responsive, coordinated, and combat-ready force in the Pacific.
