Draken has completed operations in support of Exercise Cold Response 2026, a Norwegian-led, multi-domain NATO exercise training multinational forces in Arctic conditions.

Over 11 days, Draken's Falcon crews flew sorties delivering electronic warfare effects from specialised EW-equipped aircraft, replicating near-peer threats for Allied maritime units operating in the high north.

"Operating alongside NATO forces in the high north winter certainly presented a myriad of challenges for Draken's detached team, but to be able to deliver a meaningful contribution to such important operational readiness training was hugely rewarding," said Simon Boyle, Draken's Detachment Commander during the exercise.
