Tunisian Air Force Adds New Flight Simulator

Entrol has sold a customized H125 FNPT II MCC simulator to the Tunisian Air Force, which operates under Tunisia's Ministry of National Defense. The agreement was formalized in July 2025 and marks the second simulator project entrol has delivered to the Tunisian Air Force.

The simulator's cockpit is customized to match the customer's AS350B fleet configuration and integrates real Garmin dual GDU1060 hardware. The device also includes a cylindrical visual projection system paired with a D-BOX vibration system for tactile feedback during flight.

"Our goal with this H125 project was not just to deliver a certified device, but to provide a tailored environment where pilots can practice high-risk procedures—such as NVIS operations or flying through sandstorms—with total realism and zero risk," said Juanjo Lechosa, Business Development Manager at entrol.

The simulator includes a navigation database built for Tunisia, covering official Tunisian airports, 15 geo-specific helipads, and environmental scenarios such as desert sandstorms and initial NVIS integration. It also features a dual instructor and observer station for tactical evaluation and debriefing.

The H125 FNPT II will support advanced military mission training, including procedural drills, emergency management, NVIS tactical flights, and formation flying within Tunisia-specific scenarios.

The Tunisian Air Force, under the Ministry of National Defense, is responsible for defending national airspace, conducting search and rescue missions, and supporting tactical ground operations.
