Babcock has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Belgian defence company S.A.F.E. to explore collaboration on international training opportunities. The agreement was announced at the Brussels European Defence Exhibition and Conference (BEDEX) on 18 March 2026.

The MOU brings together Babcock's international training experience with S.A.F.E.'s expertise in defence and resilience training design and delivery in Belgium and the surrounding region.

Babcock's current international training portfolio includes pilot training for the French Air and Space Force and the French Navy, as well as collective training and wargaming support to NATO establishments in Norway and Poland. S.A.F.E. specialises in training capability development, infrastructure security, and secure operations support for defence organisations.

Babcock says its approach to international work includes using subject matter experts with local knowledge and creating skilled roles in-country.
