UK MOD Renews £1.86 Million Simulation Licence

Matrix Pro Sims has secured a two-year renewal of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) enterprise licence for Command Professional Edition (Command PE), valued at £1.86 million. The agreement reflects the MOD’s continued use of Command PE as a modelling and simulation capability supporting defence innovation, training and operational preparedness.

The enterprise licence enables Command PE to be deployed across the MOD, broadening access to advanced modelling, simulation and wargaming capabilities for training, education, experimentation, planning and analysis. It also connects MOD users with the wider Command PE community across NATO, creating further opportunities for collaboration and interoperability with allied partners.

The renewal follows the recent announcement by NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) that Command PE had been selected for integration with the Maven Smart System, an AI-enabled command-and-control capability. This development highlights the software’s growing role in next-generation defence technology and AI-enabled decision support.
