ST Engineering Antycip is delivering a new virtual training environment for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) as part of its Joint Command and Staff Trainer (JCAST) programme. Developed in collaboration with MASS and Hadean, the training system is based on the MAK ONE simulation suite from MAK Technologies and is designed to support more agile and adaptive mission preparation.
The JCAST system integrates command and control systems from MASS, artificial intelligence technology from Hadean, and the VR-Forces simulation platform from Antycip. VR-Forces allows users to create simulated training environments populated with autonomous agents, enabling exercises from tactical to strategic levels.
By combining AI capabilities with computer-generated forces, the system is intended to support complex scenario training, mission rehearsal, and experimentation. The platform enables users to train in adaptive, multi-domain scenarios and conduct post-exercise analysis beyond traditional constraints.
The JCAST programme represents a broader effort to modernize training for joint-force operations. Antycip, which supports simulation integration across Europe, provides modular, interoperable systems aligned with NATO standards.
Antycip will showcase its capabilities at DSEI 2025 in London, from September 9–12, at stand S3-160.
