We caught up with Adah Sham from CGS Immersive at APATS 2025 in Singapore to explore how immersive technologies are reshaping aviation training.

In conversation with Halldale correspondent Atul Chandra, Adah reflects on the shift in industry mindset, from questioning the relevance of AI and VR to actively planning their integration.

CGS Immersive’s flagship product, Cicero, enables instructors and content creators to build AI-powered roleplay simulations in minutes, helping learners test and master skills in a dynamic environment.

The platform offers real-time feedback and repeatable practice, enhancing retention and performance.

Adah also shares CGS’s collaboration with Meta, focusing on mixed reality and next-generation smart glasses. With new APIs allowing real-world camera input to be overlaid with instructional content, CGS is developing tools that could revolutionise equipment training and fault diagnosis.

The interview underscores APATS’s role as a hub for innovation and collaboration, and sets the stage for continued progress in aviation learning technologies. Make sure you join us at our next event, EATS 2025, in Cascais, Portugal, to be part of the conversation.
