Evaluation Criteria
For this award, the main criteria for the success of the intervention reside in the innovation, effectiveness, and value of the application as indicated by positive impacts on the various stakeholders.
Innovation
Applications that are considered to be breaking new ground and exceeding the hype in either educatino or training, or performance support (or both) will be rewarded accordingly. Applications in entirely new and novel areas will be weighted highest.
Effectiveness
In a training intervention effectiveness can be measured by student achievement of performance objectives and by transfer to either subsequent training modules or to the job. Positive effects on job performance can demonstrate effectiveness of a performance support initiative, in terms such as time, accuracy, or error rate, or even by eliminating the need for education and training. In short, an effective intervention meets or exceeds the client's expectations.
Submissions with higher impact on student achievement, or workplace performance will be weighted higher.

Please see below for more details about what information will be required in the online nomination form:
Overview: Give an overview in this section. Include a description of the application, not to exceed 500 words, that clearly states the technology framework, describes the skills trained or learned, tasks performed/enabled, instructional methods, strategies as applicable, and the assessment and evaluation strategy.
Innovation: State when the product was implemented. Implementation must be after 1 January 2020. Describe the evaluation context: who, where and when. If this is an application in an entirely new technology migration from a commercial-based product, you will be awarded a 5. On the other hand, if it is a run of the mill, unexciting, conventional application, award a lesser score, or even a 0.
Effectiveness: Describe the effectiveness of the intervention in terms of task performance and transfer. Is the intervention meeting expectations of the client? Use the results of evaluations to support this section. Applications for which the evaluation results indicate the same or increased training and learning/performance effectiveness will be scored higher. Significant improvements supported by a robust evaluation process will be awarded 5 points. If there is no evaluation, 0 points will be awarded.
The Value Proposition: Address the valued training or education outcomes to the client using quantifiable metrics that are meaningful to the client. Has the application had a positive impact on the business of training or job performance? Look for metrics such as increased capability, readiness, training and education efficiency, cost savings, transfer of skills heretofore completed on a weapons platform to the learning product, and the like. Is this a success story? High impact applications will be awarded 5, and lower impact submissions will be awarded fewer points accordingly.
Testimonials: You may include up to 2 testimonials from clients. Include their contact information. The presence of a relevant testimonial will be awarded 1 point.
