Vector Solutions has announced Scenario Simulator, an AI-powered learning capability that turns training scenarios into conversational practice. Instead of selecting from predetermined answers, learners respond in their own words, navigate scenarios that evolve based on their decisions, and receive personalized feedback grounded in Vector’s course content.

“Knowing the right answer and being prepared to act on it are two different things,” said Rob Buelow, VP of Digital Learning Transformation at Vector Solutions. “The moments that matter most require people to think, respond, and adapt in real time. Scenario Simulator gives learners the opportunity to practice those decisions and receive meaningful feedback, building the judgment and skills they need to take action when it matters.”

Embedded in select Vector courses, each scenario is grounded in Vector’s human-reviewed content and concludes with consistent instructional takeaways. Safeguards include crisis escalation protocols, audit trails, data privacy protections and opt-out capabilities.

The first courses cover bullying prevention, substance misuse, harassment prevention, workplace violence, and hazard communication and safety, reaching nearly 1 million learners annually.

“What stood out was the tool’s ability to adapt to each of my approaches while staying grounded and consistent in the scenario and learning objectives,” said Katie Eichele, Director of The Aurora Center for Advocacy & Education at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, who participated as an alpha reviewer. “It identified my strengths and weaknesses and appropriately redirected me when I wasn’t engaging meaningfully. I was particularly interested in whether I could derail it or get it to reinforce problematic behavior, and it remained remarkably consistent, professional, and relatable. The adaptability and individualized coaching have tremendous potential.”

Scenario Simulator is available starting October 2026.
