A recent workshop in Bandar Seri Begawan introduced 30 Brunei entrepreneurs to extended reality (XR) technology and its business potential. Organized by MAED Training and South Korea’s YST Corporation, with support from the Persekutuan Peniaga-Peniaga Melayu Brunei (PPPMB), the event focused on real-world XR applications across sectors like education, healthcare, and manufacturing.

MAED Training’s Founder Irwati Abdul Gafur opened the session, stressing the importance of digital innovation in Brunei’s industries. YST’s Han Sang Il outlined XR’s impact in South Korea and Vietnam and discussed integrating artificial intelligence to enhance its effectiveness.

The workshop featured live demonstrations by YST’s Lee Ju-Sik, followed by hands-on sessions where participants experienced XR environments firsthand. Organizers aimed to inspire local businesses to adopt immersive technology for training, operations, and engagement—marking a step forward in Brunei’s digital transformation.
