Volocopter has unveiled the VoloXPro, an electrically powered light multicopter developed in collaboration with Diamond Aircraft. The aircraft is being introduced publicly for the first time at AERO 2026 in Friedrichshafen.

In Europe, the VoloXPro is aimed at flight schools, flying clubs, air sports enthusiasts, and sightseeing operators. Internationally, it is intended for use in professional passenger transport as an air taxi. German ultralight certification is planned for end of 2026, with parallel approval processes underway in other European countries.

The aircraft shares components with Volocopter's VoloCity, developed for air taxi, medical, and police transport applications. Its modular design supports multiple configurations, from minimalist cockpit setups to glass cockpits, collision warning systems, fast charging, and customizable exteriors.
