MediSim VR has launched Uttarakhand’s first AI and VR-based medical simulation center at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), Dehradun. The center aims to provide immersive, hands-on training for medical, nursing, and allied health students through scalable VR labs. These labs support virtual surgeries, emergency scenarios, and competency assessments, enabling learners to practice clinical skills safely while bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.

The initiative aligns with India’s National Education Policy 2020, expanding training opportunities to both HIMS students and external learners across the state. The system incorporates AI-driven adaptive learning, real-time feedback, and data analytics to monitor performance and assess competency. The lab can accommodate up to 500 users simultaneously, with ergonomic, touch-controlled stations and hygiene-focused UV sterilization.
