An-Najah National University wrapped up its Design Futures Exchange project with a final workshop at Innovation Park Hall, bringing together students from An-Najah and Arizona State University. The semester-long collaboration focused on integrating virtual reality (VR) into architectural design and education.

Participants from architecture and engineering programs engaged in hands-on sessions using VR headsets to explore their applications in visualization and sustainable design. The workshop was organized by faculty from An-Najah’s Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality Research Center and its Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering.

The final event included a joint design challenge focused on a kindergarten for a local refugee camp, highlighting the students’ shared commitment to socially responsive architecture. The project emphasized professional skill development, cross-cultural collaboration, and the role of immersive technologies in education. The program concluded with a certificate ceremony celebrating student contributions.
