CAE and Eurocopter have announced an agreement for an EC225 helicopter training facility in Norway, including a CAE 3000 Series Level D flight and mission simulator that will begin operation in 2015 as part of the Eurocopter-approved simulation center. The facility will be located at CAE’s training center in Norway. The simulator will be equipped with a CAE Tropos-6000 visual system and a Eurocopter original simulation package and is scheduled to begin operation in 2015. Eurocopter and its local representative, OSTNES, intend to quickly extend the new Norway center's capabilities by installing an AS350 helicopter full flight simulator at the facility.
