Epic Flight Academy officially opened its FAA Part 141 flight school at St. George Regional Airport (SGU) on June 28. The event featured a ribbon-cutting hosted by the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, with Epic staff and members of the St. George community in attendance. Guests had opportunities to learn about flight training programs, try flight simulator sessions, and participate in discovery flights.
Founder and CEO Danny Perna said, “By all accounts the St. George community has been incredibly supportive and engaged with the process of setting up the new school. We have already started flight training there and were thrilled to see so many new faces at the grand opening.”
Epic Flight Academy has been training pilots since 1999. It operates under FAA Part 141 with multiple locations across the U.S. In addition to pilot training, Epic offers aircraft mechanic training under FAA Part 147 at other sites.
