TRAINING CENTRES

L-3 Link Simulation & Training (L-3 Link) is expanding its Asian Aviation Training Centre (AATC) in Bangkok, Thailand, with the installation of another Level D RealitySeven™ full flight simulator (FFS).

The currently undisclosed aircraft-type FFS will be installed in the fourth quarter of 2014 and will be ready for training during the first quarter of 2015 following certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). It will be integrated with an RSI Visual Systems XT4 image generator, which includes an FL35 DLP LED projection system.

This latest FFS will bring the total number of simulators at the L-3 training facility in Suvarnabhumi Airport to six.
