AgustaWestland's Training Academy in Malaysia is to receive an AW139 maintenance training simulator later this year. This will enable practical elements of AW139 airframe and avionics courses to be undertaken in Malaysia by customers in the region. The full aircraft maintenance trainer simulator enables students to undertake maintenance and fault finding tasks on a 'real' aircraft.
This latest announcement highlights AgustaWestland's commitment to expand the AgustaWestland Training Academy Malaysia and offer an increasing number of courses at the facility for its customers. The availability of the AW139 maintenance trainer simulator will allow customers in the region to complete both theoretical and practical elements of their AW139 training in Malaysia.
