Spirit Airlines has established a partnership as a business vendor of training equipment with Spatial Composite Systems, the UAE manufacturer of cabin crew training simulators. Spirit recently awarded a contract to Spatial for its first A321 L1, L3 and OWE door trainer, which has already been installed at Spirit's training facility in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The simulator, which was designed and built at Spatial's manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah to comply with JAR Ops-1 and EASA training standards, is the second training device that the company has shipped to the United States following their initial A320 cabin trainer for Virgin America in San Francisco. Spatial is currently at an advanced stage of negotiation for a further two training devices to be installed in the US in 2016.
