TRU Simulation + Training announced that Pan Am International Flight Academy has received Level D qualification from the FAA for its A320 FFS X™ full flight simulator installed in Miami, Florida.
The TRU A320-200 FFS is configured to meet Airbus A320 standard 1.8.1 and features electric control loading, a six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) electric motion system, and a moveable forward-facing instructor operating station tower with multiple high-definition, color touch-screen displays. The front-projection visual system provides a 200-degree horizontal by 40-degree vertical field of view (FOV) and image display from a three-channel, PC-based image generator and LED projectors.
