FlightSafety International is to design and manufacture an Airbus A320 full flight simulator for Wisesoft Corporation of Chengdu, China. This will be the fourth Airbus A320 simulator FlightSafety has provided to Wisesoft.
The Airbus STD 1.8 simulator is expected to received Level D qualification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China following delivery at the end of 2016. It will be installed at the SafetyWing Aviation Training in Chengdu. In addition, all Wisesoft Airbus A320 full flight simulators will be upgraded with FlightSafety's VITAL 1100 visual system.
The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator being built for Wisesoft features tightly integrated computer hardware and software across subsystems which allow for more accurate and higher fidelity simulation. It offers a new multi-function Instructor Operating Station designed to enhance the effectiveness of training by providing an intuitive interface, scalable graphics, and large multi touch displays. The simulator will be equipped with FlightSafety's VITAL 1100 visual system, electric motion control and cueing. The original Airbus panels installed in the flight deck will also help to ensure the highest fidelity training.
