Barco Showcasing Aviation Training Projector Solutions at WATS

Barco, a provider of networked visualization products, will be at the  World Aviation Training Conference and Tradeshow (WATS) this week in Orlando, Florida as a presenter, exhibitor and sponsor. The company is partnering with immersive visual display provider 3D perception to present its latest simulation projector solutions for the aviation training industry.

Barco will champion the show’s theme of "Optimizing Blended Learning and Training Technology," demonstrating its latest projection technologies designed for flight training applications. Barco says it develops projector solutions designed to fulfill the industry’s need for realistic, high resolution and stable visual with low maintenance costs.

“Precise, extremely accurate visualization is essential to achieving the most effective flight training when preparing a team of professionals for critical missions,” comments Dave Fluegeman, Vice President Simulation for Barco.

A WATS participant for 14 years, Barco will show F50 WQXGA projectors on a curved screen display system from 3D perception and will also have its flagship FL35 LED projector on display in the Barco booth: #232.

Barco’s Simulation Vice President, Dave Fluegeman will present “Trends and Outlook of Projection Technology” on Thursday, April 21st at 9 a.m. Fluegeman will share his insights on trends and the outlook for projection technology in the aviation training industry, including: What benefits does the current projection technology add to training, and where is the industry heading?
