Global Helicopter Safety Association Appoints New Board Member

HeliOffshore, the global association for safety in the offshore helicopter industry, has announced the appointment of Mr. Andrea Cicero to its board.

Mr. Cicero, chief operating officer for Babcock Mission Critical Services Division, replaces Mr. Bill Tame, chief executive officer, International Division, Babcock International PLC.

HeliOffshore Board chairman Mr. Bill Chiles, welcomed Mr. Cicero: "Our members benefit from a board populated by leaders with a shared commitment to enhancing safety at the frontline. With his extensive industry expertise and safety leadership, Mr. Cicero will play an important role on the board and in HeliOffshore's ongoing global collaboration for safety," he said.

"I am looking forward to working with Andrea and, on behalf of the board and our members, I want to thank Bill Tame for his considerable contribution to the association and its achievements to date," said Mr. Chiles.

Since its foundation in 2014, HeliOffshore has enabled a global collaboration that is already delivering safety enhancements to the frontline. The HeliOffshore conference, which runs from 11-13 May 2016, will bring together leaders from across the offshore helicotper industry to continue a global collaboration that is already delivering safety improvements at the frontline.
