Ryanair has ordered five V7000 Brigade™ cabin fire + smoke trainers from Netherlands-based Flame Aviation.
The first fire trainer is destined for Ryanair's brand new training facility in Bergamo, Italy. Ryanair holds a further four options for similar cabin fire + smoke trainers for other training hubs within its continuously expanding network. The trainer for Bergamo will be ready for training in September.
Ryanair has already a number of fire trainers in operation at various locations in Europe to train its cabin and flight crew. The realistic cabin interior, the lithium-ion battery (laptop) fire and the smoke capabilities made Ryanair choose the V7000 Brigade.
The fire trainer is environmental friendly and due to it’s technical design hardly requires any maintenance. Flame Aviation will also provide Ryanair with online support and updates since the fire trainer is connected to the internet.
