Aer Lingus has selected Pelesys' Training Management and Deployment System (TMDS) to meet their future eLearning and electronic training records management requirements.

Aer Lingus will use Pelesys' Learning Managementn System (LMS) to distribute Pelesys' A320 and A330 type courses along with a complete complement of differences CCQ and aviation Special Operations courses. The airline will also implement Pelesys' Electronic Training Records Management sysetm to replace paper-based training records and manual grading sheets, in order to implement an Evidence Based Training program.

"We intend to use Pelesys to establish our new Evidence Based Training program and for the Pelesys system to be the repository for all training data from which the statistical analysis and evidence is based on in order to drive our future training requirements. We believe that the Pelesys solution is ideal for Aer Lingus as it addresses our Annual Recurrent on-line training, Type Rating Training, Qualification management and Electronic training records requirements. We anticipate the implementation of an ATQP program in approximately two years which will be based on the Pelesys system," said Capt. Eamon Kierans, manager of Training and Standards at Aer Lingus.

Pelesys Training Management and Deployment System (TMDS) includes courseware deployment, knowledge assessment, training management, qualification management, and electronic training records solutions. Pelesys ETR system is provided in partnership with Logitude Ltd.
