UFA, a provider of Air Traffic Simulation and Voice Technologies, delivered a 10-position approach and en route radar trainer with full voice communications system capability to Malta Air Traffic Services (MATS).
The UFA system will allow MATS to increase its onsite training activities, resulting in reduced training costs and more efficient use of ATCO resources.
MATS is the Air Navigation Service Provider for Malta and provides a variety of services primarily aimed at ensuring that aircraft flying in the Malta Flight Information Region are safely separated in accordance with international civil aviation regulations.
