ACCEL Flight Simulation (ACCEL), a joint venture between Haite High-Tech and Rockwell Collins, has received Level-D qualification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for its first Next-Generation Boeing 737 Full Flight Simulator (FFS).

ACCEL was established in 2016 as a simulation and training centre of excellence to research, design, manufacture and market commercial aviation flight simulators.

The company’s first FFS is installed at the Haite A-Safety training centre in Tianjin, China. “The qualification of this full flight simulator represents a significant milestone for China by providing the first full capability in the country to research, design and manufacture Level-D FFS for western aircraft platforms,” commented Li Jiangshi, Chairman of ACCEL’s Board of Directors.
