Flight Simulation Company (FSC) is to add a Boeing B787-9 FFS manufactured by L3 CTS to the existing fleet of simulators at its Amsterdam Airport Schiphol location.

The B787-9 FFS, which will be the latest RealitySeven model (certified by EASA to Level D standard) is expected to be ready for training by the middle of July 2018. It will be configured with both engine types for the B787, the GE NX-1B and the RR TRENT 1000.

The agreement between FSC and L3 CTS includes an option for a second B787 FFS unit at a later date.

By adding the B787-9 simulator, FSC will not only serve a number of existing customers, but also welcome a group of new customers in Amsterdam, which is well connected with the rest of the world.

Commenting on the agreement, Alan Crawford, President of L3 CTS, explained, “2017 has shown continued growth of the international commercial aerospace sector and with that the demand for qualified commercial pilots. We look forward to working closely with Flight Simulation Company for many years to come.”
