Avsoft has been awarded a long-term contract to provide Fly540 Aviation Ltd, a low-cost airline based in Nairobi, Kenya, with eLearning and LMS services for its Dash 8 Q300 and CRJ-200 aircraft systems courses. The courses are in use for type and recurrent training at Fly540’s Nairobi Training Centre.

Headquartered in Nairobi and operating from Jomo Kenyatta International and Wilson Airports, Fly540 Kenya flies to Eldoret, Kisumu, Lamu, Lodwar, Malindi, Mombasa, and across the border to Juba and Zanzibar. "Fly540 Kenya has found Avsoft's type course of great benefit to our pilots during their aircraft conversion training and we plan to use the courses for type and recurrent training in the future.  The Kenyan CAA has approved these courses as part of our pilot training programme and we are pleased to move into the technology-based training era with Avsoft's help and support" said Mark Reading, Director Flight Operations.

Avsoft's Dash 8 Q300 and CRJ-200 aircraft systems courses are an ideal fit for Fly540 pilots, they can be used on iPad and Android tablets on and offline, and are fully flexible in allowing Type and Recurrent training with varying lesson and exam needs, plus additional recurrent course training in the future, and integrate with Fly540’s Dash 8 and CRJ pilot training programme.
