Envoy Air has officially welcomed Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology to the Envoy Cadet Program.

“We created the Cadet Program to ensure we continue to recruit quality pilots to position Envoy for success,” said Natalie Nielsen, Envoy Air’s Director of Pilot Recruitment. “We’re pleased to welcome Spartan to the Cadet Program, and look forward to seeing some of their students flying Envoy aircraft in the future.”

Envoy’s Cadet Program is designed to help the most promising university and commercial flight school student pilots make a smooth transition from the classroom to the regional cockpit.

Under the program, Envoy places such students as a paid Flight Instructor at one of its affiliate programs, offers US$5,000 in financial assistance and provide them with all the benefits of being an Envoy employee.

Benefits include travel privileges for the cadets and their immediate family on American Airlines flights; comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) retirement with company match contributions; American Airlines Group profit sharing; and paid vacation and sick time accrual.

Then, once cadets begin training as an Envoy First Officer, they will earn a signing bonus of up to $17,100.
