Airways Aviation announces Italian pilot training scholarship

Aspiring pilots in Italy could win €40,000 towards their training once Airways Aviation announces a new scholarship programme at Pilot Careers Live in Rome.  Online applications are open until 31 January 2018. If candidates confirm they have had an EASA medical, they could be invited to Airways Aviation’s UK headquarters in Oxford to take the industry-standard COMPASS test (which has a €50 administration fee). Top-scoring candidates will then be asked to complete a bespoke application form.

The scholarship process will also involve a written English test and a panel interview in Oxford. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of April 2018 with a view to starting their pilot training as early as May 2018.

Romy Howatt, Founder and Shareholder of Airways Aviation, claimed, “The world is in need of airline pilots and we understand that for many potential aviators, financial constraints make it difficult to pursue a career as a pilot. Following a significant increase in enquiries, we have spent the last few months recruiting aspiring pilots from all over Europe and have had a great response to our eight scholarship initiatives launched to date.

Airways Aviation also recently launched a scholarship programme in Germany.
