Simhawk Inc. handled requests for over 16,000 hours of simulator time via its online marketplace in 2017.

“We saw a significant increase in the number of users in the second half of 2017, including those from a number of industry segments that we had not previously served,” said Chris Weinberg, the company's CEO. “Simhawk handled training requests that equate to the annual capacity of three full flight simulators and we expect this to increase significantly in 2018.”

“We encourage all training customers to start their searches for sim time or training with Simhawk,” continued Weinberg. “Our marketplace enables customers to get proposals from virtually every training provider in the world. Whether they are an airline, a corporate flight department, or an owner operator or a freelance pilot, Simhawk’s Sim Search shows them all of the options in one place. Whether they need excess capacity, want to compare pricing and availability, or are looking to explore different options, Simhawk does the job for them.”

Simhawk plans to add new features and functionality to its platform in 2018 to further streamline the simulator search process and to notify buyers of special opportunities and last-minute availability.
