L3 Commercial Training Solutions (L3 CTS) has launched a new cadet pilot training programme with Jetstar Asia Airways designed to develop high-calibre students into professional pilots for the airline.
The first course is planned to start in mid-2018, at which point successful applicants will undertake six months of ground school training in Singapore with Revion Ground School. Following that, they will commence flight training on L3 CTS’s latest-generation aircraft and simulators at its purpose-built training centre in Hamilton, er-Faure New Zealand. Upon successful completion, they will of this phase, they will proceed on to gain an Airbus A320 type-rating with Jetstar Asia.
The programme will support the resourcing demands for the Singapore-based airline and demonstrate its commitment to training a new generation of qualified pilots as it continues to grow its network in the region.
Recently, L3 CTS announced Robin Glover-Faure is now President, succeeding Alan Crawford.
