The JORAMCO Academy has signed a cooperation agreement with the Regional Training Center of the Arab Air Carriers’ organization (AACO-RTC) under which both parties will offer joint courses on aviation maintenance training for engineers and technicians at the AACO-RTC facility in Amman, Jordan.

The AACO-RTC was established in 1996 through a financial support from the European Commission and two major aircraft manufacturers with the objective of providing the highest quality and most cost-effective training opportunities that to maximise the human performance in the Middle East region. The training centre recently began promoting in-house training activities, which has resulted in huge savings for airlines by training staff at their home base.

The JORAMCO Academy was established in 2007 as an independent, co-educational institute that prepares graduates for careers in needs of aviation, aerospace, engineering and related fields. It’s facility is in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in association with and on behalf of Air Service Training (Engineering) of Perth, Scotland.

The JORAMCO Academy also has an agreement with the University of South Wales in the UK.
