Thai Flight Training (TFT), a subsidiary of Thai Airways, has ordered an Airbus A320 door trainer from Spatial which is due to enter service during the second quarter of 2018.
The device, which is equipped with Spatial’s door visuals system, will offer training on the L1 door and over wing exit. Prior to entering service, it will be exhibited at the IATA Cabin Operations Safety Conference in Bangkok.
Marc Van den Broucque, Managing Director of Spatial, said, “Working closely together on this bespoke design, we have ensured that we can offer a well-equipped device at an attractive price to allow TFT to expand its operations further.”
Spatial also recently received an order for a Boeing 787 door trainer from Gulf Aviation Academy.
